A sensor for heavy metal ions using Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM)

Sirirat Panich A sensitive and accurate method for the quantitative analysis of heavy metal ions is of great interest in many fields .Whispering Gallery Mode (WGM) can be used as an extremely sensitive sensor. My research is focused on the development of an optical chemical sensor for trace quantities of heavy metals using a WGM detector whose microresonator surface is functionalized with gold nanoparticles (GNPs).
