About me

Nathanael Jarrassé received a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Systems Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), an M.Sc. degree in Mechanics and System Engineering in 2006, and a Ph.D. in Robotics at the ISIR-UPMC laboratory in 2010, from the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France.

His research interests include human motor control, biomechanics, physical Human-Robot interaction (pHRi), rehabilitation and medical robotics. In particular, he specialized in the field of exoskeletons for assisting motor rehabilitation as well as in the control of devices interacting with humans.

He is now starting a research activity on upper limb prosthetics. Since october 2011, he is a CNRS researcher at the Institut of Intelligent System and Robotics in the University Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France; and is a visiting researcher in the Human Robotics Group at Imperial College.
