Research Positions

An internship unlike any other

Do you want to work on something interesting this summer? Do you want to apply the skills you have learnt during the year? If so, why not apply for a summer internship with us? We offer internships in the fields of Robot-assisted tutoring, Assistance for disabled children, Human-robot collaboration for musical composition and Learning by Demonstration.

What would my internship be like?

Though the exact specifications of every research placement will be determined by you and Professor Demiris, most interns will be assigned a desk at the lab and given access to one of our robots. Your day-to-day activities will be supervised by one of our knowledgeable PhD students.

Requirements

You must be currently enrolled in any undergraduate degree at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department and have excellent grades.
