Nuclear Energy

This area has been the subject of a number of substantial reviews in recent years, including a comprehensive long-term strategy developed by government in association with industry. Therefore, unlike the other prospectus reports, which were based on workshops, the Nuclear Fission report drew upon the outputs of a session held at the 2nd Nuclear Universities Consortium for Learning, Engagement and Research (NUCLEAR) consortium meeting at the University of Birmingham on the 19th September 2013. The session lasted an hour and was attended by over 30 nuclear academics, from a range of disciplines and different levels of seniority
