This webpage tells you what careers support will be available to you in three scenarios:

  • under minimal COVID restrictions
  • under partial COVID restrictions, which allows students to be on campus whilst following guidelines
  • under full COVID restrictions, which means a return to lockdown, should there be another outbreak of coronavirus.

Careers Service

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. Some online/remote services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback.

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources will be offered to support students during COVID-19.

Business School Careers Service

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. Some online services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback. The majority of employer activity will be online in Autumn 2021 though we aim to hold some on campus activity where feasible.

Under partial COVID restrictions: There will be some in-person delivery of workshops within the restrictions via multi-mode (to accommodate those on campus and those online). Majority of delivery, support and resources online, including additional support for students during COVID-19 with a minority of activity on campus in a COVID-safe environment, where appropriate.

Under full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources will be offered to support students during COVID-19.

International Student Support

Under minimal COVID restrictions: In-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. We will continue to routinely offer online/remote services for students who prefer that mode of engagement, where in-person delivery is not appropriate or available (for example for students who are outside the UK) or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback.

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Full online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources to support students during the pandemic.

Evening classes

Under minimal COVID restrictions: It is likely that around 50% of CLCC Evening Classes/Adult Education would remain online even with no COVID restrictions, as the method of delivery has proven popular with a significant number of our tutors and students.

Under partial COVID restrictions: Due to social distancing requirements in campus classrooms 90% or more of CLCC Evening Classes/Adult Education would remain online.

Under full COVID restrictions: 100% of CLCC Evening Classes/Adult Education would remain online.
