This webpage tells you what wellbeing support is available to you in three scenarios:

  • under minimal COVID restrictions
  • under partial COVID restrictions, which allows students to be on campus whilst following guidelines 
  • under full COVID restrictions, which means a return to lockdown, should there be another outbreak of coronavirus.

Disability Advisory Service

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. Some online services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback. 

Under partial COVID restrictions: Online services will be offered, including Special Learning Difficulties (SpLD) assessments. Online partial autism assessments will be offered, with pre-arranged in-person component completed dependent on student need and government advice.  All in-person assessments will be offered in a COVID-safe environment. Possibility of pre-arranged in-person appointments based on student need and government advice. 

Under full COVID restrictions: Online full diagnostic assessments will be offered for SpLD. Online partial diagnostic assessments will be offered for autism. Full online/remote advisor/tutor and screening appointments will also be available.

Counselling & Mental Health Service

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. Some online/remote services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback. 

Under partial COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be offered, with the possibility of pre-arranged in person appointments based on student need and government advice. Enhanced online services and resources will be offered to support students during COVID-19. 

Under full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be offered. Enhanced online services and resources will be on offer to support students during COVID-19.

Chaplaincy

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available in a COVID-safe environment. Some online/remote services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement or where digital delivery has proven effective and has received positive feedback. 

Under partial COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources will be on offer to support students during COVID-19. There will be limited access to campus prayer rooms. 

Under full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources to support students during COVID-19. No access to campus prayer rooms.

Imperial Health Centre

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Further details are to be confirmed as England's NHS guidance evolves. The service will be operating a telephone triage system and face-to-face appointments will be available if appropriate after triage. Registered patients cannot receive medical advice if they are not in the UK at the time of contact. 

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: The service will be operating a telephone triage system and face-to-face appointments will be available if clinically necessary. Registered patients cannot receive medical advice if they are not in the UK at the time of contact.

Sexual violence support

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services available in a COVID-safe environment. Online/remote services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement. 

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available.

Pastoral support in halls

Under minimal COVID restrictions: Full in-person services will be available. Online/remote services will continue to be available for students who prefer that mode of engagement. Additional online services and resources will continue to be available to support students during COVID-19. On site, in-person support will be available in the event of a serious emergency. 

Under partial and full COVID restrictions: Fully online/remote services will be available. Additional online services and resources will be offered to support students during COVID-19. On site, in-person support will be available in the event of a serious emergency.
