What is the testing advice for attending social events?
Updated Wednesday 8 December 2021
We recommend that you postpone or reduce in scale any Christmas or end-of-term celebrations you may have planned. All College hospitality and events before Christmas will be automatically cancelled. Should your event or meeting be essential, please contact the catering team.
You should take a lateral flow device (LFD) test before you meet with others in a social setting. If your test is positive, you should report it to the College’s COVID-19 Contact Tracing Hub and the NHS as soon as possible.
A COVID infection can start with mild cold-like symptoms. If you experience symptoms such as a headache or sore throat, you should not come to campus or attend events, even if you have a negative test result.
