Imperial College London Pre-sessional Social Programme

Brighton trip

We offer a range of optional social and cultural trips and activities to students studying on our Pre-sessional English programme. These are run by our dedicated Social Programme Organiser and supported by student volunteers from the College.

The aim of the social programme is to give you the opportunity to see some interesting sights in and around London, to experience British culture and to socialise with your classmates, while practising your English! We offer a whole range of (optional) organised activities for you outside of class time to help you to integrate into life here in London and the UK.

It is an optional programme, but you are encouraged to participate for the following reasons:

Windsor castle trip

  • It will help you practise English speaking and listening in a non-academic environment
  • It will be a good orientation for life in London and at the College
  • It will give you the opportunity to spend time socially with classmates and to make new friends on the pre-sessional courses.
