The telephone number that the button dials depends on the pre-set number that you have assigned to it using the Telephony Self-Service Database.

Abbreviated dials is a telephone service that allows you to store your frequently called numbers. Abbreviated dials differ from speed dial because your frequently called numbers are stored in a list and are each assigned a two-digit code (from 01 to 99). The telephone number that the abbreviated dial calls depends on the pre-set number that you have assigned to it using the Telephony Self-Service Database.
