To set up Skype for Business on your Windows machine, follow these steps:

  1. Install Office (includes the Lync software).
  2. Open Skype for Business (Lync).
  3. Enter your College email address (e.g. joe.bloggs12@imperial.ac.uk).
  4. Click Sign In and enter your College password if prompted. This will generate an error message.
  5. Click on OK on the error message.
  6. Enter your College username as ic\username in the box that appears.
  7. Click Sign In.
