If you finished your studies in a year ending in 2 or 7, we can help you organise a milestone reunion for your classmates. See the list of reunions already in progress, or if your class isn't listed, get in touch with us by 24 March and we can assist with the following:

Host your own reunion

Finding old friends

We can search our database of more than 190,000 alumni to find out how many people in your group we have contact details for.

Due to the constraints of the Data Protection Act, we are unable to give out lists of contact details from our database; however, we can provide you with the names of alumni for whom we have up-to-date contact details.

Through your own personal networks you may be able to help us find any we have lost touch with over the years.

Want to know what's going on in this photo? Read the full story of how alumni Desmond Kearns (Mining 1965) and Norman Price (BSc Physics 1964) recreated a 50-year-old memory.

Getting in touch with classmates

We can take some of the work off your hands and reach out to your classmates for you, sending an initial email to the group to gauge the level of interest for a reunion (or a letter if we don't have email addresses for your group).

We ask that you provide the personal touch by sending us a few paragraphs where you (re)introduce yourself and your ideas for a get-together. If you have old photographs that you would like to include, we can work them into the design.

As we get closer to the Alumni Weekend, you will be able to access an online directory to keep track of how many of your classmates are attending.

We can also help you to get in touch with your old department and potentially assist with organising tours and visits around your old haunts.

Advice

We can offer advice on the format of your reunion, potential activities with and visits to your old department, and all the other things that can help make your event special.

You might want to consider asking alumni to send you a short biography, which you could compile as a keepsake. For advice, or to find out what else we might be able to offer, please contact the Alumni Office at alumni.weekend@imperial.ac.uk.

Most venues on campus will be quite busy over the weekend, so we have prepared a list of restaurants and bars nearby where you might like to arrange a meal or drinks.

If you need to book a hotel, you can use the Imperial Conference and Events accommodation booking system to get the very best deal from nearby providers.

Share your #OurImperial memories

Your life has been shaped by your Imperial education, the connections you formed, and your experiences here. Inspired by the theme of this year’s Alumni Weekend (Then, Now and the Future), we’re inviting you to take part in #OurImperial – a celebration of everything that makes Imperial special to you.

Whether it’s a love story or a tale of inspiration, a moment of realisation, a place, a person or an embarrassing anecdote, we want to hear from you. Inspiring, life-changing, or just a funny moment you remember fondly, it’s all part of what makes #OurImperial unique.

We will showcase your stories, photos and memories in the Alumni Zone, and we’ll be sharing the memories online in the run-up to the Weekend, with your permission of course. As well as a place of honour in the Alumni Zone, our favourite entries will also win special Imperial College London prizes during the Alumni Weekend.

Share your Imperial experience with us by emailing alumni.weekend@imperial.ac.uk, comment on Facebook or LinkedIn or share your photos on Instagram or Twitter using #OurImperial.

Celebrate your milestone with a gift!

Whether you graduated 5 or 50 years ago, your support can make a huge difference to Imperial students. Each year, thanks to gifts from alumni like you, we award scholarship and hardship funds to students who have outstanding potential – but lack the financial resources to afford their education or cost of living in London. We invite you to mark your milestone year with a small gift to Imperial.
