Faculty of Life Sciences (2001 - 2005)

The Faculty of Life Sciences at Imperial College London was formed in 2001 from Department of Agricultural sciences established 2000, formerly Wye College; the Department of Biological Sciences, a merger of the former departments of Biology and Biochemistry and biophysics from the Department of Physics; Department of Environmental Science and Technology, a merger in 2001 of the Centre for Environmental Technology (ICCET), the Centre for Energy Policy and Technology and the Centre for Mineral Resources Engineering.

In 2005 the Faculty was merged with the Faculty of Physical Sciences to form the Faculty of Natural Sciences
