Division of Neuroscience and Mental Health

The Division of Neuroscience and Psychological Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College London covers a wide range of expertise in both basic and clinical neuroscience, from the molecule through to systems approaches and on to the diagnosis and management of patients with neurological and psychiatric diseases. It was established in 1997 following the merger of the Charing Cross & Westminster Medical School and the Royal Postgraduate Medical School with the Imperial College School of Medicine. It includes departments: Epidemiology and Public Health; Infectious Disease Epidemiology; Primary Health Care and General Practice; and Social Science and Medicine. The Division is based at the Charing Cross, Hammersmith and St. Mary’s campuses.
