Medicine and Life Sciences programme content

In previous years, sessions included: learning research and programming skills in epidemiology with the Schistosomiasis Control Initiative; studying the physiology of the urinary system through case studies and experiments; and exploring the cell biology of cancer through laboratory research.

In 2020, students learned about the pros and cons of being a doctor and attended an interactive lecture on diabetes. Students also had the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session on studying medicine which was hosted by current Imperial undergraduates.
