Primary Planetarium Days
Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Due to the challenges associated with the pandemic, we will continue to provide STEM support through our dedicated online platforms. Our first priority remains the safety and well-being of our staff, students and programme participants.
Enrolment for our programmes this Autumn will continue as usual but there will be no face to face or on-campus visits until it is deemed safe to do so. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we will continue to do the best we can to safely support all of our programme participants. Please contact the programme manager / Imperial visitor if you have any questions or concerns and check the website for updated information.
Our primary planetarium days are designed to give primary students a chance to be immersed in space.
As part of the primary planetarium days school groups are able to visit Imperial's South Kensington campus and the Science Museum to engage in numerous activities. These include:
- Inflatable planetarium
- Science Museum Wonderlab visit
- Workshop or 'Meet a Scientist' session*
*not all scientists will present on space/astronomy
