Coronavirus (COVID 19)
Due to the challenges associated with the pandemic, we will continue to provide STEM support through our dedicated online platforms. Our first priority remains the safety and well-being of our staff, students and programme participants.
Enrolment for our programmes this Autumn will continue as usual but there will be no face to face or on-campus visits until it is deemed safe to do so. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we will continue to do the best we can to safely support all of our programme participants. Please contact the programme manager / Imperial visitor if you have any questions or concerns and check the website for updated information.
Our campus tours are a great opportunity to find out more about life at our South Kensington Campus – big enough to house some fantastic facilities but not so big you will feel lost in the crowd.
You'll be guided round our South Kensington Campus by a current student so it's a chance to quiz them about their own Imperial study experience.
Our tours run most weeks throughout the year on Wednesdays at 14:00. At certain times of the year other times and days may be offered.
We plan to run tours on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the Summer months, outside of term time. All available tours will be listed on the booking form.
You can find a list of available dates and times on our online booking form.
Also see 'How to book' below.
We will be regularly adding more dates so keep checking back to find a slot to suit you.
About the tour
Each tour lasts one hour and includes some key campus locations including:
Please note, that our campus tours do leave promptly. If you arrive late, please collect a walking tour guide from our main entrance reception desk and look around our campus independently.
All of our campus tours finish back at the College's main entrance. If you missed out, we recommend catching the end of the tour to ask our ambassador any questions you may have.
This is a general tour of the campus and does not include visits to individual departments. Please note that we are unfortunately unable to provide storage facilities for bags and luggage.
Furthermore, these tours will be conducted in English and we are not able to provide translators. Those booked on should have an intermediate level of English due to the Higher Education and technical terminology used during the tour.
Please note, as our campus tours are not designed for large group bookings and therefore, we are not able to offer tours or presentations for independent tour groups or agencies. (please see our group visits webpage, for more information on our the requirements for group/school bookings).

For a more in-depth tour of the College, including the opportunity to view accommodation and sit in on lectures, why not come along to one of our Open Days?
We hold three College-wide Undergraduate Open Days each year.
If you are booking for a school or college visit that contains 8 or more people, please book your tour directly with the Student Recruitment team. For more information and for details of how to book, see the group visits to campus for schools/colleges webpage.
Please be advised that as students, our ambassadors are not subject to DBS checks.
