Development of a direct powder forging process
The aim of this project is to develop a direct powder forging process for Nickel-based superalloys. The main objectives include optimisation of manufacturing process and multi-scale modelling.
Developing a constitutive model for FGH96, micromechanical modelling of powder particles and calibrating using tests with Gleeble are different stages of this project.
