INMIS-2017 - Deadline for early registration and abstract submission
We would like to remind you that the deadline for abstract submission and early registration is in less than one month. We have received very positive feedbacks on the symposium and many participants have registered already. We encourage you to submit your work for presentation at the symposium. Bursaries will be available for participants from low and middle income countries presenting abstracts. For more information please visit our website: http://www.inmis.org.

CICH Seminar Series
The aim of the CICH is to facilitate multi-disciplinary research partnerships and educational activities for global child health and to join up existing international child health research activities within the College and beyond.
In March 2017, we are launching a new bi-monthly seminar series to discuss pertinent issues in global health which can affect children and their families anywhere in the world.

The SickKids Public Health Nutrition Course (SPHNC) is an innovative online course designed primarily for health professionals, but also students and individuals seeking to learn more about nutrition in a globalized world. By leveraging SickKids’ expertise and international networks, the open access course exposes participants to contemporary issues in public health nutrition with an emphasis on maternal and child nutrition. The SPHNC encompasses an interactive, broad-based curriculum that equips participants with the knowledge and skills to address nutrition-related health challenges, adding a more dynamic layer to existing education content and mediums currently available in public health nutrition.

Children and Clinical Research
This is a new free, online training course tackling the issue of: how can we ethically undertake the research involving children and young people that is needed to ensure their healthcare services are safe and effective, given that research often involves burdens and risks? Moreover, what role should children, young people and parents themselves play in influencing how research studies are carried out, and how can their voices help influence the wider research agenda?
