To complete the MSc all students registered for programmes in the Advanced Structural Engineering Cluster must undertake six modules in both the Autumn and Spring terms, with Core modules being compulsory. Over the Summer term students will commence work on an individual Design Project / Dissertation.  

Modules which cannot be taken with Business Management or Sustainable Development

Autumn Term:  CI9-STR-40 Design of Timber and Masonry Structures

Spring Term: CI9-STR-11 Nonlinear Structural Analysis, CI9-STR-41 Structural Fire Engineering 

Add-on modules in Business Management and Sustainable Development

Each of these options comprise 120 hours of study and are taken as an alternative to the modules listed above.
