Partytime at the Summer Ball

Fireworks
A £20,000 donation from the College ensured that this year's Summer Ball went off with a bang... literally.

On the stroke of midnight, a 10 minute firework fiesta, launched from the roof of the Sherfield building, lit up the night sky, capping off a night when chart stars Cornershop, plus Mos Eisley and the James Taylor Quartet, kept students in the mood for partying.

The student union's big band, and jazz and rock societies hit the right note with the audience in the Main Dining Hall, while bands belted out dance music upstairs.
