PhD student's travel grant

BALDEV Gill, a PhD student in the department of chemical engineering, has been awarded the International Travel Grant from the Royal Academy of Engineering.

The scheme supports top engineering research in the UK by enabling researchers to make study visits overseas to remain at the forefront of new developments.

After work in the oil and energy industry with Schlumberger, Shell and the UN, Baldev is now investigating fluid flow through porous media.
