At the Southampton event recently, Hetty Stearn (captain), Melanie Norman, Frankie Craig and Amber Young, took second place to Cambridge, who went on to win the national finals.

Hetty, overall winner in the students' league with wins in three of the four competitions, has been asked to apply for selection to the British team for the World Student Games in Japan in December following her success in last year's Student Riders Nations Cup in Germany.

The new BUSA league starts in October when the Wye team will be captained by Amber Young.
