The Imperial College Electrochemistry Network was established in 2020. Its role is to connect the large and burgeoning group of electrochemistry researchers across the university, enhance our interactions, and provide a focal point for both internal and external engagement across electrochemistry. The network curently has 49 academic members from 9 different departmens across the college.

Electrochemistry impacts a huge range of technological systems and is ubiquitous in nature. At Imperial we are engaged in a particularly broad spectrum of electrochemistry research, ranging from fundamental studies of redox couples to electrochemical systems engineering. At present, we constitute 31 principal investigators, and many more research staff and students.

The Network is led by Ifan Stephens (Materials), Anna Hankin (Chemical Engineering) and Clotilde Cucinotta (Chemistry), with additional organisational support from Mengnan Wang (Chemical Engineering).
