Emily Pepper's work on the progressive collapse of massive timber buildings has won the best MSc poster prize from the Institution of Structural Engineers. As part of her MSc dissertation at the EmergStructTech Lab, Emily carried out extensive advanced numerical analyses on various cross laminated timber buildings to assess their potential for disproportionate collapse.
