The earth is warming and glaciers are melting. In Peru this has far reaching consequences. A new documentary, Winds of Change, funded by Energy Futures Lab explores the impact of climate change, and use of renewable energy sources, in rural Peru.

When Alex Bak and Tomos Thomas, of the Department of Physics, went to Peru to work with the WindAid Institute they decided to make the most of their time there. The resulting documentary captured the changes occurring in the Andes due to climate change and the impact renewable energy sources are having on rural communities in Peru.
