Biography
After intensive training in Mathematics and Physics in the French “Classes Preparatoires aux Grandes Ecoles ”, Fatine studied General Engineering at Ecole Centrale Paris. Her interest in renewable generation led her to gain industrial experience in Offshore Wind deployment at EDF R&D. Eager to specialise in this field, Fatine enrolled on the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures.

Konstantinos Anagnostou
Biography
Konstantinos obtained his 5-year Electrical & Computer Engineering Diploma from the National Technical University of Athens. His specialisation in energy systems and management and his keen interest in the operation of markets led him to participate in two business simulation competitions, having won one of them and reached the national final in the other. After graduating he aims to leverage his energy background and pursue a career in energy consulting.

Biography
Paulina received her degree in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey, in Mexico. After completing an internship at the Department of Energy and Sustainability at CEMEX and working at Johnson & Johnson she decided to broaden her knowledge in the field of Sustainable Energy and joined the MSc at Imperial College London.

Gaspard Berge
Biography
After a conventional French education in classes préparatoires and at Institut d’Optique Graduate School, Gaspard decided the time had come to explore new horizons. Passionate about sustainable energy and concerned with the future of our planet, he decided to join the MSc in SEF. Nevertheless, unwilling to betray his origins in the sunny south-west of France, he has obtained an analyst position within a solar energy project company, thus migrating back to a more sunny and tropical environment.

Sebastian Botosezzy
Biography
Following the completion of this thrilling year at Imperial College London, Sebastian will hold a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from Institut d’Optique Graduate School, a French Grande-Ecole. Before joining Imperial, Sebastian developed his enthusiasm for sustainable energy through two R&D internships at Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy systems in Freiburg, Germany and at Bentham Instruments Ltd in Reading, UK, both related to PV cells.

Daniel Burke
Biography
Daniel studied a BSc in Physics at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2012. In December of that year he moved to Canada to work as a ski instructor, where he remained for two years. During this time Daniel realised his passion for sustainability for its technicality and the continuous ethical and economical discussion surrounding it, and chose to pursue this through the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures course.

Jenny Cherkasky
Biography
As part of her Bachelor studies in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration at Technische Universität Darmstadt, one of Germany’s leading engineering universities, Jenny took part in an exchange programme at École Centrale de Lyon in France. Prior to pursuing the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures, Jenny gained some experience as an Energy Analyst at juwi, a project developer of renewable energy plants. This experience confirmed her interest in the energy industry.

Biography
Holding a French Diplôme d'ingénieur in Systems Engineering including Mechatronics, Programming and Electronics from Brest National Engineering School, Quentin chose to tackle Climate Change challenges through undertaking the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures and the Climate-KIC master programme in Entrepreneurship. These multidisciplinary degrees, along with his previous experience in both industry and research inspired him to pursue doctoral studies in energy/water demand-side management here at Imperial College London Business School.

Biography
Having earned a BSc programme in Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, spending one semester at the University of Glasgow in accordance with the Erasmus Exchange Programme undertaken in 2013, Pietro decided to pursue his interest in the energy sector by embarking on the MSc Sustainable Energy Futures. A few months ago he accepted a job offer as an analyst in the McKinsey Solutions market analytics team, a unit specialised in the oil and gas sector.

Biography

Biography
Matt spent a glorious three years studying physics at Durham University. During this time, he became disillusioned with the constant socials, frequent sport, and general care-free lifestyle. And so, after a year saving money (and subsequently spending this money travelling), he embarked upon the Sustainable Energy Futures course at Imperial College London to develop the skills necessary to help solve the world’s most pressing issue. Biography
Lawrence previously completed an engineering degree focused in the naval sector. It was through his internships in the shipping and energy trading arenas that got him intrigued with the changing energy landscape, which led to this current Masters programme. He is looking to enter the energy trading field where he hopes to combine the technical knowledge of the energy field with his interest in financial markets. Lawrence is probably returning to Singapore upon graduation after Theresa May made it clear that she is doing everything she can to drive international students out of the UK with her well thought through blanket policies.

Jonathan graduated in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, with a specialisation in energy. He then chose to focus more narrowly in this area by undertaking the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures to supplement his technical knowledge with energy economics and politics.

Biography
Sam obtained a BEng in Environmental Engineering with first class honours at University College London, winning the Chadwick Prize in his final year. After the MSc SEF course, he aims to implement elements of low carbon technologies in the downstream manufacturing processes of his family’s business.

Biography
Yang completed his BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the University of Strathclyde; achieving first class honours. At Strathclyde, he completed a summer internship focusing on the design and performance of electrical generators for wind turbines. He joined the MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures to pursue his interest in the energy sector and renewable energy technologies.
