The Techcelerate progamme provides a programme of market assessment to test out an idea. Researchers receive financial support to get out of the lab and explore real-world applications of their research. Participants engage with prospective customers, regulators, suppliers, partners and competitors to discover the commercial potential of their research.

The programme uses an evidence-based approach that enables participants to form and test their hypothetical business models, and ensure a close fit between their technology and market needs.

Throughout the programme, teams have access to resources to enable them to conduct customer discovery for their envisaged technology, product or idea. 

At the end of the programme, teams will be given guidance on how to develop their idea further, including suggestions of any programmes or opportunities that might be suitable and access to Imperial's Enterprise ecosystem.
