Imperial has monitored equality and diversity data for a number of years. It is important to collect this data in order to create a clear picture of the College workforce so we can identify if all staff are being treated fairly. For example, this data can help identify areas where we need to improve or provide more support and training. Staff can update their information through ICIS, and the College currently asks for information on:

  • Age
  • Ethnic origin
  • Nationality
  • Sex and gender identity
  • Disability
  • Religion or belief
  • Sexual Orientation

Registry also produces a range of student statistics, including data on equality and diversity (Imperial login required).

Annual Staff Diversity Profile

In the past HR have produced an annual staff diversity profile. These Excel spreadsheets are based on a snapshot date of 1st November each year.
