You can choose to attend an online or in-person session. Online sessions are from 10.00 - 12.30 or 13.30 - 16.00. In-person sessions are from 9.30 - 12.30 or 13.30 - 16.30.

Training overview

This training course is for anyone who wants to learn more about about harassing or bullying behaviours, and how they can affect performance and the overall working environment. The course develops the skills to tackle harassment and bullying head-on to prevent reoccurrence, and help you feel more confident in eliminating any form of discrimination in the your team or department.

What is covered in this course?

  • What constitutes Harassment, Bullying and Victimisation
  • Identifying acceptable/unacceptable behaviours at work
  • The legal framework and current legal/organisational definitions of bullying/harassment and victimisation
  • Identifying and developing the skills needed to challenge others appropriately at work
  • Overview of the policies procedures and support available
  • Drafting a personal development plan for future development linked to the course

Who is this course for?

This course is open to all staff. 

We also have a seperate course, Harassment - the management perspective, for staff with management or supervisory responsibilities.

  • It is important that you are fully present and an active participant, to create a safe space for sharing and discussion.
  • For some of our training, you will be required to keep your video cameras on. Please ensure prior to attending that you have a fully functioning camera and microphone. If you have any issues with your equipment, please contact us as soon as possible. If you require your camera to be off as a workplace adjustment, please let us know in advance so that we can makethe trainer aware.
  • Please ensure that you are in a private space where you can maintain confidentiality and the privacy of the other delegates.
  • To maintain confidentiality, all delegates are asked to agree to keep what is said within the group, and not record or take screenshots/photos without permission. Pictures or quotes from the session should not be posted on social media or elsewhere without the express permission of those involved.
