How early should I book for my party?
We recommend that you book as soon as possible and no less than 3 weeks in advance. The earlier you book, the greater the chances of getting your preferred date and time. We would of course endeavour to accommodate any urgent requests, but it will be subject to availability. Please note that we cannot guarantee your booking until you have paid your deposit.
How do I book a party?
Please complete and return the Booking Form (Word Doc) to firstname.lastname@example.org We will get in touch within three days to discuss your needs further. All party reservations will require a £150 deposit to hold the space. We accept cash, all major credit cards and cheques. Any outstanding balance needs to be paid a month prior to the party date.
What is your cancellation policy?
All party reservations will require a £150 deposit, which is non-refundable if you decided to cancel your booking.
On the day
How early should everyone arrive prior to the party?
We suggest that everyone, including the host family, arrive promptly at the scheduled party time – ideally about 15 minutes before the party starts. We will need to collect all Parental Consent Forms (for children taking part in climbing activities) when you arrive and go through our safety rules with everyone before the party starts. You can download the Parental Consent Form (pdf) and fill in the form in advance.
Will there be any space for parents to rest during the party?
We have seating spaces in the climbing wall area, so parents can wait there and watch children’s activities.
Catering and decorations
Can I order food, cake and drinks or can I bring my own?
You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages for your party. Please mark this clearly on the booking form and confirm that you agree to the following:
- That you take responsibility for ensuring food allergies of all attendees are addressed and risk managed.
- All food that is brought in is pre-packaged or delivered, ready to be consumed and that no preparation or cooking of food takes place within the facility.
- No utensils, plates or cups can be provided by the Centre.
- All food packaging and utensils must be removed from the centre by the hirer on departure.
What type of decoration do you provide?
Can I bring my own decorations? If so, what shall I bring?
You are free to bring your own party items, such as hats and noisemakers, that can be taken home or cleared up easily after the party. We usually have private climbers scheduled straight after your party, so strings, confetti, piñatas, bubbles and streamers are not allowed as they might cause delay to other users. A cleaning fee might apply if you bring any difficult-to-remove decorations.
What is included in my party booking?
What is the role of your party host?
The party host is there to add fun, organise the party and guide kids. The party host cannot take full responsibility of your children.
After my party, can my guests stay for a while?
You can request for additional time at the time of booking.
What should the kids wear when using the Climbing Wall?
We would recommend wearing comfortable sportswear. There are no particular rules on clothing.
Can parents climb as well?
We are sorry but parents can’t climb during the Children’s party. However, we are more than happy to organise a private climbing session for you! Please book at least two weeks in advance. For more information about adult climbing sessions, please contact us.
