Call for Participation

We recently started the Machine Learning Initiative at Imperial College. The aim of this initiative is to raise the profile of machine learning research at Imperial to a global level. The initiative connects active researchers in machine learning across all departments. We coordinate joint activities (e.g., seminars, workshops, tutorials) and provide an environment for collaboration and joint grant applications.

On October 4, we will have an official launch event of the initiative, and we invite you to join us. The event will be opened by the Provost, Professor James Stirling (CBE FRS FCGI).

Keynote speakers at the event are Dr Sebastian Nowozin (Principal Researcher, Microsoft Research) and Dr Shakir Mohamed (Staff Research Scientist at DeepMind). The event will be concluded by a poster session and a reception.
