Choosing your next step is an important part of your degree but we know it’s not always easy. Research offers a huge range of career options, but it can also be difficult to break into without insights, community networks and guidance. This can be particularly true for Black, Asian, and other ethnic minority students who are underrepresented in postgraduate research in the UK.

If you identify as a BAME undergraduate in science, technology, engineering, maths or medicine, and are considering research, come along on Wednesday 11th March to learn about building a career in research that works for you.

  • Learn from inspiring researchers at all stages about what they do, how they built their career, and what advice they have for you.
  • Meet other students to exchange your ideas and form new connections.
  • Learn about finding a mentor and developing a strong relationship that helps you progress.
