Professor Clare Bryant is a Professor in Innate Immunity at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests lie in understanding how bacteria are detected by patter recognition receptors (PRRs) and how these interactions influence the host innate and adaptive immune response to infection, in different animal species. She also has a strong interest in understanding how PRRs mechanistically regulate immune responses to chronic inflammatory diseases such as allergic responses to cat and other allergens.

Chaired by Dr Mohamed Shamji as part of the Inflammation, Repair and Development Section’s seminar series.
