Display of various women at Imperial

In this lunchtime online panel discussion, senior leaders in the College will discuss the International Women’s Day theme “Choose to Challenge” which aims to celebrate women’s achievements; raise awareness of gender bias, and encourage action for equality. The panel members will speak about what they are currently doing to take action on gender equality in their departments, reflect on the challenges ahead and discuss the commitments they are making for gender equality.

The panel includes:

  • Emma Carrington, Clinical Senior Lecturer, Department of Surgery & Cancer
  • Mary Reynolds, Director of Development and Campaigns, Advancement
  • Deborah Ashby, Director of the School of Public Health, School of Public Health
  • Anthony Bull, Head of Department of Bioengineering, Bioengineering

This event will be chaired by Head of the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Centre, Kani Kamara.

This event is open to all members of the Imperial College London community. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions during the session.
