Based in Atlanta, Georgia, the Imperial College Foundation was established in 1987 by a small group of dedicated volunteers. The Foundation has recently celebrated its thirtieth anniversary and three of the Foundation’s Board Members have each given over 25 years of generous service.

The Foundation is recognised as a public charitable foundation, under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Service code. 

Imperial College Foundation is a non-profit corporation operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, whose principal goal is to advance the pursuits of Imperial in the most advanced training and research in various branches of the sciences and their application to medicine and industry.
