Tickets for the Postgraduate Ceremonies on the 2 May 2018
Below is a guide to the tickets for the postgraduate ceremonies:
Graduand tickets are free of charge. Upon registering Graduands will register for the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall and will also receive a ticket for their Department Reception which will take place across campus after the ceremonies. Please note the deadline for registering for the Postgraduate Ceremonies on the 2 may 2018 is midday (UK time) on Friday 9 March 2018. Unfortunately, we cannot accept late registrations.
Graduands will be able to purchase up to 2 guest tickets for the ceremony at £25 per ticket. Graduands will also be able to purchase up to 2 guest tickets for the department receptions at £15 per ticket. Please note the deadline for purchasing guest tickets for either the Royal Albert Hall or the Department Reception is midday (UK time) on Friday 9 March 2018.
Additional Guest Tickets
Due to the anticipated number of graduands and guests attending the Graduation Day ceremonies we are only able to guarantee up to two guest tickets per graduand. All registered graduands will be contacted by email on Friday 16 March 2018 should any guest ceremony and / or Department Reception tickets become available. If there are any additional guest tickets available for the ceremonies and / or the Department Receptions these will be sold on a first come first served basis from 10:00 (UK time) on Monday 19 March 2018 until they have sold out. Please note it is highly unlikely we will be offering on the day sales for any guest tickets.
Seats are allocated in advance for both graduands and guests in separate areas of the Royal Albert Hall. Your ticket will identify your seat by door, area, row and seat number. You will not be seated with your guests. Please ensure you sit in your assigned seat, as occupying the wrong seat will disrupt the presentations.
Children and Babies
Graduation ceremonies are formal occasions and as such may not be suitable for young children. Any children over two (other than babies in arms) must have their own seat inside the graduation hall/venue and a ticket must be purchased for them when purchasing all other guest tickets.
Tickets will be available to collect on the 2 May 2018. Further details of the collection point and times will be made available late March 2018.
