Programme ended on 16 March 2017

The NERC funded Innovating for Sustainable Development programme was a joint venture run between the SSCP and SCENARIO DTPs from January to March 2017. The programme has consisted of two residentials and three workshops and has used the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a framework to explore and find solutions to environmental challenges.

Interdisciplinarity was a key aspect of the programme: all participants are PhD students interested in innovation and sustainability, but come from a wide variety of disciplines and institutions including Imperial College London, KCL, UCL, Reading, Surrey and the RCA.
