Exams and Assessment
Forms of assessment
Imperial Horizons courses are assessed in many different ways depending of the type of course. Details of assessment can be found on your course description and assessment deadlines will appear on blackboard.
Please note that all assessments are compulsory for all students (including those registered for extra-credit or non-credit).
A student who fails to attend an exam or submit an assessment without a valid reason will fail the entire course without having the option of a resit. (If you are taking the course for extra-credit or non-credit a fail will not be recorded on your transcript.)
If you have extenuating circumstances (i.e. documented illness or a serious personal problem) which mean you are unable to attend a written exam, please contact the Examinations Officer.
For coursework extensions, please complete the relevant extension form.
