The Lee Family – Faculty of Medicine Scholarships

Thanks to a generous gift from the Lees Charitable Foundation, a new scholarship programme was introduced in 2018.  This new opportunity allows talented medical graduates to take part in an outstanding clinical academic training programme at Imperial College London.  The endowed fellowship offers one full PhD fellowship every two years, in perpetuity.

Imperial’s prestigious clinical-academic programme provides opportunities for doctors to do a three-year PhD through which they gain valuable research experience that can be linked to their clinical discipline.

With one single application process for Wellcome 4i, ICCIS and LFFMS, candidates can submit one application only and need not specify which post they are applying for, this will be discussed at the time of interview. Please see the Wellcome Trust and AHSC funded Clinical PhD Programmes for further details.

Enquiries should be directed in the first instance to the CATO team at: cato@imperial.ac.uk

Please note:  The LFFMS is for medical graduates and should not be confused with the Lee Family Scholarships, which is a different scheme altogether.  The Lee Family Scholarships award is open to students studying in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Natural Sciences and the Imperial College Business School. Applicants must ordinarily reside in mainland China or Hong Kong (excluding Taiwan).  Further details The Lee Family Scholarships | Study | Imperial College London
