Achievements directly related to MRes BMR project work

In some cases, the research projects students undertook have led to them becoming co-authored on published papers demonstrating how the MRes in Biomedical Research can valuably enhance your CV. There are also opportunities to take part in conferences or contribute to Imperial's student publications.

Achievements since leaving

The majority of our students have gone on to study for PhDs at Imperial or other leading institutions such as UCL, University of Zurich and Oxford. Others have embarked on careers in other sectors. Some examples of recent destinations of our research students include:

  • Orthopaedic Registrar at Kingston Hospital
  • Research Assistant at the Alexander Fleming Institute
  • Singaporean Ministry of Defence
  • Reader in Graduate Medicine at the University of Cambridge
  • Johnson & Johnson Innovation Junior Research Fellowship in Neurosciences at St Edmund College, the University of Oxford
