Trauma Management short courses

The Trauma Management stream, held at St Mary’s Campus Paddington, consists of two week-long modules:  Casualty Reception and Initial Management  11th to 15th June 2018 and Operative Management of Injuries 3rd to 7th September 2018.  Trauma surgery covers all types of trauma, including musculoskeletal trauma. Trauma surgery covers also the pre-hospital management, emergency room responsibility, intensive care management and rehabilitation.  This stream will link the differing aspects of trauma care into a cohesive syllabus to give a trauma surgeon a greater insight into the overall management of trauma. We would utilise both simulation training and hands-on tissue dissection which would provide a unique learning experience.
