Modelling of Superplastic Forming

My current research is working on simulation of superplatic forming. Mainly, I am developing new constitutive rules for grain boundary deformation, as well as implementation and validation of the rules.

The ultimate goal is the new multi-scale modelling package which will allow accurate simulation of industrial superpalstic forming, damage evolution and related deformation modes.

My previous work is focusing on plasticity mechanical size effect study on metals and ceramics in theories and experiments. I have also carried out creep properties study on polymeric coatings.
