Academic requirement:

  • Our minimum requirement is a 2.1 degree (or equivalent) in engineering or physical science, with a suitable grounding in mathematics.

English language requirement:

  • IELTS 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each element, or equivalent.

The focus of this course is the interaction between molecular science and engineering. As such, applicants are expected to have a degree in an engineering subject (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or physical science degree (e.g. Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science) or life sciences degree.

However, we consider applicants from a wide range of science/engineering backgrounds, particularly if their degree included a maths component. For further information, contact Prof George Jackson, the Course Director.
