Yuefeng Cui, final year PhD student has been awarded the American Society of Composites Award in the Structures Student Paper Competition.
Congratulation to Yuefeng Cui who has been awarded the American Society of Composites Award in the Structures Student Paper Competition at the recent AIAA SciTech 2014 conference in the USA. Yuefeng is in the final year of his Ph.D. working with Dr. Matthew Santer on the design of advanced morphing systems and his paper is entitled 'Adaptive Multistable Flexible Composite Surfaces'.
The AIAA SciTech 2014 conference took place in Washington D.C. and had 3,000 delegates from 44 countries, and 1600 institutions in attendance. The award is worth $1000.
