Chemical Engineers celebrate national women in engineering day

The women in our Department celebrated #NWED by posting photos of themselves holding a message answering the question 'What do you do?'

As part of Imperial College's celebrations of National Women in Engineering Day on 23rd June (#NWED) we invited the women in our Department to pose for the camera holding a message answering the question 'What do you do?'. The photos were posted on our twitter profile (@ICChemEng) in order to help raise the profile and celebrate the achievements of women in engineering, and encourage more girls to consider engineering as a career.

The Department of Chemical Engineering has women working in diverse roles from professors to undergraduate students, technicians, teaching, admins & managers, and they work on a wide range of projects and themes.

The wonderful contributions provided highlight the depth and breadth of work carried out in the Department
