The department is taking applications from students who would like to carry out research projects in any aspect of chemical engineering education.

The UROP opportunity is available to undergraduates in their second, third and fourth years and will consist of a small-scale research project of their choosing, on any topic related to chemical engineering education.

This is a great opportunity for students to explore their research interests and add research experience to their CV. A £900 bursary is available for two students to complete their research over six weeks this summer.

To apply, send a 300 word synopsis outlining the importance of your project, how you intend to collect and analyse data and what implications the findings might have for learning and teaching within chemical engineering. This could focus on how technology can support learning, or what drives people to develop new skills and knowledge.

Proposals are to be submitted to Dr Deesha Chadha (d.chadha@imperial.ac.uk) by the 15th June 2018. Please get in touch with her directly if you have any queries or would like to discuss your proposal
