Congratulations to group leader Prof. Ed Tate on receiving the Corday-Morgan Prize

The RSC has recognized over 80 individuals and teams for exceptional achievements in the chemical sciences. Prizes have been awarded for impact in the areas of research, education, innovation, policy, and volunteering.

This year, Ed received the Corday-Morgan Prize for contributions to the discovery of novel chemical probes, and their applications to aid understanding of protein modification in living systems. These findings have led to the validation of novel drug targets in cancer and infectious disease. Ed was one of three recipients of the Corday-Morgan Prize for 2020. Details of Ed's biography, and Q+A session, can be found on the RSC website.

Congratulations to all prize winners and their teams! Full details of awards can be found here.
