by

LGBT+ networking event

An opportunity for students to meet with LGBT+ professionals from a range of inclusive employers.

February is LGBT+ History Month in the UK, an annual month-long observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. As part of Imperial’s activities the Careers Service is hosting an LGBT+ Careers Panel in partnerships with IQ, (the LGBT+ Student Society).

This careers panel will include conversations with LGBT+ employees from various organisations including:

  • AstraZeneca
  • Arup
  • Accenture
  • FTI Consulting
  • Enterprise

The event aims to facilitate career discussions and share perspectives on the workplace to demonstrate that it is possible to be comfortable and successful at work while being yourself, regardless of your sexual orientation or gender identity. Any student who identifies as LGBT+ or who is an ally of the community is welcome to attend.
