by

Behavioural Descriptor

Researchers from the AIRL Lab have published an introduction to Quality-Diversity Optimisation as a blog post.

Maxime Allard from the AIRL Lab has published a light Introduction to Quality-Diversity Optimisation and the use-cases around this family of algorithms. Additionally, the introduction has a collection of resources that can help beginners to get started and use Quality-Diversity for their projects.

This blog is supposed to help newcomers to this field with any notion around  Quality-Diversity and its benefits.

We are very happy to publish this and hope that we can spark the curiosity of both the research and industrial community with this family of algorithms. Don't hesitate to reach out to our lab if you want to learn more about use-cases or real robot applications.
