	Centre for Advanced Structural Ceramics (CASC) CASC started in July 2008 and has since become an industrial consortium to continue long-term and fruitful relationships between CASC-associated academics and the UK’s industrial structural ceramics community.
	Rolls-Royce Nuclear University Technology Centre The Imperial Nuclear UTC is unique in its breadth addressing nuclear engineering research of relevance to Rolls-Royce which includes: Materials Performance, Micromechanics, Non-destructive Evaluation, Radiation Transport, Structural Integrity, Thermal Hydraulics and Tribology.
	RCNDE RCNDE is an EPSRC-sponsored collaboration between industry and academia to coordinate research into NDE technologies, and to ensure research topics are relevant to the medium to longer-term needs of industry.

	NTEC (Nuclear Technology Education Consortium) A new concept in postgraduate-level training for the nuclear sector has been developed by NTEC (Nuclear Technology Education Consortium). The breadth and format of the training is designed to meet the UK's projected nuclear skills requirements in decommissioning and clean-up, reactor technology, fusion and nuclear medicine.
	Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) NERC is the leading funder of independent research, training and innovation in environmental science in the UK.
	National Nuclear User Facility (NNUF) NNUF is a multi-site facility that gives academia and industry access to internationally leading experimental equipment for nuclear research on radioactive materials at levels greater than can be handled in university laboratories. NNUF equipment is centred at the three complementary hubs of the National Nuclear Laboratory, Culham Centre for Fusion Energy and the Dalton Cumbrian Facility (University of Manchester).

	Korea Atomic Enery Research Institute (KAERI) The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS), responsible for supporting the government in regulatory and licensing works, and the Nuclear Environment Technology Institute, responsible for low and medium level radioactive waste management, are also originally spin-offs from KAERI. KAERI established the present KEPCO E&C, responsible for not only the architect engineering works of nuclear power plants, but also for designing nuclear steam supply systems. KAERI also established the present Korea Nuclear Fuel Co., Ltd.(KNFC), responsible for designing and manufacturing PWR as well as PHWR fuels.
